where i’ve been…
hi all - I know it seems like I’ve been MIA for a week or so - but I’ve been here, just behind the scenes!!
Between the Holidays and what not, I’ve been able to get in LOTS of time off from work. It’s been wonderful. Pete and I spent most of the last 2 weeks just chillin’ at home, doing things around the house - I did a LOT of stamping & crafting. All in all it was very relaxing and VERY needed!
I also have been spending a lot of time re-vamping the blog…even though it doesn’t look any different! I haven’t gone “live” with any changes yet, but hopefully soon I will. I am still trying to determine which provider I want to switch to, or if I want to take the leap to Movable Type all on my own. (I prefer to have 100% control over my blog, including the HTML, server location, DNS, etc.) Typepad & Wordpress are great services but unfortunately they don’t truly offer you full control unless you pay a hefty monthly fee. I’m already paying for a web-hosting account on this domain, so I would prefer to use that instead. KWIM?
Sorry, lots of geeky talk. Just know that I’m working on making this thing better. It’s my New Years Resolution 
I also wanted to answer a few questions from previous commenters:
Q: What type of equipment do you use to video?
A: I actually don’t use anything fancy at all. I need an actual camcorder! I simply use my Canon Digital Camera on the Video Recorder option. I have a 2GB memory stick so that usually gets me just about enough to film a short video.
Q: Did you buy your Copic Markers as a set or individually?
A: I actually bought them each individually from Oozak.com. I did a lot of research - they were the lowest price I could find. However, I didn’t really like any of the sets they offered (A, B, C or D). I knew that Ellen Hutson had THIS offered on her site, called “Gotta Have Them All” - it’s a collection of 96 markers. I really liked this collection but her asking price was a little high. So I took the colors that she suggests for this set and purchased each on individually from Oozak. There were only about 23 or so that I was unable to get - they were out of stock…so I’m just waiting until next time to buy those. Can’t beat the FREE shipping on orders over $50 at Oozak.
**note - when I purchased the Sketch markers, they were $3.90 each - however I believe the Copic prices went up after the new year. I’m not sure by how much though. **
