another colorful Christmas Card
wanted to share with you another colorful Christmas Card that I put together last week.
It was weird, I had this random idea a few weeks back that I would love to use Tinsel from a Christmas Tree on one of my cards…maybe as ribbon or something? A few days later, I was in Michael’s & saw they have this great ribbon that is beaded & has tinsel trim all around it. PERFECT! I used it here on this card & I think it adds just the right amount of “bling”. (I also added small amount of glitter to the ornaments & stars on the trees)
I really am loving these non-traditional Xmas colors. This collection of die cuts & paper is from My Minds Eye. The cardstock is actually one of the current SU In-Colors…the name escapes me at the moment…but the blue is really pretty & goes very well with this collection.
Oh I like the little beaded tinsel rope. It looks so delicate up close. The color of the blue is called Bermuda Bay and it is a very pretty color. I like how you always pull different patterns together and just make them work. Very talented. I also am liking some of the non-traditional Christmas Cards that I am seeing this year. Strange to see something other than the usual red and green, but it is making for a pleasant change. I think it is something that we should keep on doing.
