FAQ
Hey everyone - just thought I would post the answers to the questions that I get asked most frequently. If you have any more questions that I don’t cover below, feel free to email me. Thanks!

I’ve seen your Wedding Invites and would like more info…do you have any tips?
I’ve had quite a few inquiries about this, so I’ve put together a whole seperate page that covers all the info you’ll need. Click HERE to go there. You can also see pics of other DIY projects for my wedding HERE.
What kind of camera do you own?
Actually, I have 2
The first camera I have is a regular point & shoot Canon SD1000. I used this for a while until I just recently bought my new baby, a Nikon D40 DSLR. I will still use the Canon for photos when I’m “on the go” and also for my little videos that I make. But for the most part, photos you see on here are shot with my new Nikon.
Do you have any information on Craft Fairs?
Yep! I have always been sure to take photos of my booths at each fair. You can check these out in my Project Gallery. I also have an entirely separate Craft Fair FAQ post that you can find HERE.
What Blogging & other computer software do you use?
Well, I work as an IT Manager, so I am lucky to be on all different kinds of computers throughout the day. At work, I have an IBM Windows PC. At home, I’m on my MacBook Pro running OS X. Love it. I just recently switched my Blog over to Wordpress - but I’m hosting the content on my own hosting space as opposed to Wordpress servers. This gives me access to all the customization that I want/need.
As for other software - I do dabble in some Photoshop - I hope to get better at this soon. But I’ve designed a few of the graphics on here - and also some other graphics that I used in my wedding planning.
What is your favorite brand for stamping & paper-crafting?
Woah. That’s a tough one. The answer is…I really don’t have one absolute favorite. The truth is, I go through these phases where I find that certain companies just really jive with my style. That being said, I will admit that I do have LOTS of stuff from Stampin Up!. I really like their cardstock and ribbon - I’ve found it to be the best quality. Although their prices are somewhat high and lately their stamps are not really “wowing” me.
Some of my other FAVE brands at the moment are: Hero Arts, October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket, Colorbox Chalk Ink, and American Crafts.
Do you have more information on your creative space?
I just recently posted a whole entry with detailed pics on my crafting room. Check that out HERE. You will find 2 YouTube Videos where I take you on a virtual tour of my room. I’m a geek like that
If you are hungry for more photos, you can find even more HERE in my Gallery.
How do you find the time to craft?
I get this question a lot actually. For me, the biggest reason I find time is because I have a room where I can go into, play some music, and totally pull out all the stuff I need. Back when I was in college and living in apartments - I didn’t craft nearly as much, because I didn’t have the room to spread out & do it. So my #1 tip is if you can, try and find a little space in your home & dedicate that as your crafting space. Even if it’s JUST a desk. You will find that you will be more motivated & inspired to sit down and create something.
Other than that, I do most of it on the weekends. I don’t have any kids so my life isn’t TOO hectic at the moment! During the week it’s hard for me because I work full time and when I get home from work I’m usually pretty tired. But on the weekends I try and craft as much as I can.
